Service 03
Internal platforms
Tools shaped around how your team works, not the other way around.
What you walk away with
- Every case in one place, with an owner, a status and a date.
- Everyone sees what’s theirs, without digging through email.
- Dashboards that stay current, no more manual reports.
Sound familiar?
What they say“We have 400 files in a spreadsheet and nobody knows who has which.”
What I doA case system where every file has an owner, a status and a date.
What they say“Clients call to ask how their case is going.”
What I doA portal where every client sees where things stand, any time.
What they say“Every team keeps its own spreadsheet.”
What I doOne platform with shared information, and everyone seeing what’s theirs.
What they say“Reports are put together by hand every month.”
What I doDashboards that update themselves with today’s data.
The journey
Understand the work
I walk through the team’s day to day: what cases they handle, who does what, where it gets stuck and what information gets lost.
DeliverableA map of the workflow, with roles and friction points.
Design the platform
I define which screens are needed, what each role sees and how it connects with what you already use, like email or billing.
DeliverableA clickable prototype validated with the team.
Build in modules
I start with the module that brings the most relief, like cases or the client portal, and add the rest in stages.
DeliverableThe first module in real use within a few weeks.
Adoption and improvement
I migrate the data from spreadsheets, support the team through the start and adjust based on how they really use it.
DeliverableA platform the team uses, with migrated data and up-to-date dashboards.
Why work with me
- I know how systems failI design anticipating where things break, so they don’t. That’s why what I build keeps running long after launch.
- I translateI understand what a team needs even when they don’t have the vocabulary to ask for it.
- End to endOne person accountable from the idea to production. And after.
Common questions
Why a custom platform instead of existing software?
If an existing one fits well, I’ll tell you. Custom makes sense when the process is your own and bending it to a generic tool ends up costing more.
What happens to the data we have in spreadsheets?
I migrate it to the platform, cleaned up and checked, so nobody has to re-enter it by hand.
Can my clients log in too?
Yes. A client portal lets them see the status of their case, upload documents or sign, each one seeing only what’s theirs.
What if the team doesn’t want to use it?
I design it with them from the start, so it feels like theirs. And I support the launch until it becomes the natural way to work.
